  • San Isidro de General (Perez Zeledon)

    San Isidro is a bustling city located approximately 100 miles from San Jose. Just about anything that you may need can be found in San Isidro. There are several supermarkets, laundry, hardware stores, banks, restaurants, hospital, pharmacies, medical clinic, lawyers, and tons of shopping. Most people from the surrounding areas visit San Isidro for their major shopping. San Isidro can be reached by a three hour bus ride from San Jose that costs approx. $3.00. Or a taxi ride for $150.

  • Platanillo

    Platanillo is a beautiful mountain town on the road between San Isidro and Dominical. There are several pulperias, an internet cafe and many good restaurants. The views of the surrounding mountains and the valleys below are spectacular and the higher elevation provides refreshing temperatures and cool breezes.

  • San Juan de Dios

    San Juan de Dios is a quiet farming community just about at the end of forever, down in a valley. Many working cattle farms are here and the red clay earth roads cut through the fertile grasslands. San Juan de Dios has two pulperias. There are acres and acres of horseback riding and hiking. Rivers, hidden pools and waterfalls abound. An ideal place for an Eco Tour Hotel, much more away then the established ones. or even a "dude ranch" because of the succulent pasture grasses (planted) and the endless amount of unpaved roads

  • Playa Dominical

    Playa Dominical is a lively beach town located on the Pacific coast. Dominical boasts some of the best and most challenging surfing beaches in Costa Rica.There are pulperias, schools, medical services, a language school, restaurants, hardware stores, internet cafes and a lively night life. Tours offering sportfishing, whale watching and dolphin observation, as well as surfing lessonsexist. Nauyaca Waterfalls can be reached by horseback tours...day long with lunch served. Camping along the beachfront is available at a miniscule price. A little further down the road is Dominicalito with a quieter ocean and excellent for swimming.
